Wykagyl Country Club occupies one of the most dramatic and varied landscapes in Westchester County. The course is routed across a series of rocky hills and natural valleys, creating a layout that rises and falls with the terrain in striking fashion. Its design takes full advantage of the land’s bold topography, with holes that flow naturally through elevation changes and rugged outcroppings. The result is a golf course that showcases both the beauty and challenge of its setting. Annual rounds: 25,000 with an average of 55% being cart rounds.
– Work closely with Director of Agronomy and General Manager in the planning and allocation of $2.9M maintenance budget
– Responsible for daily course operations and developing new management strategies; established agronomic plans to work
towards firm, fast and fun conditioning with Director of Agronomy
– Provide pristine, tournament-level conditions for poa greens on a daily basis; initiated program to address thatch reduction
on greens and fairways
– Hire, train, supervise, and schedule 25-30 employees; experience with union employees, manage and work closely
with 2 assistants
– Collaborate with HR for employee payroll as well as state and union regulations
– Efficient purchasing and inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment; work with staff mechanics to ensure excellent quality
– Supervise all chemical calibration and applications, including record keeping and inventory, to deliver an efficient
and safe pesticide program
– Sharply monitor irrigation pond and water quality with fertigation system
– Prepared and participated in green committee meetings and master plan meetings for future golf course construction;
future drainage planning and installation
– Integral in communication with consultants on design and build for irrigation system slated for 2028
– Developed sound plan for tree maintenance and removal program
ROARING FORK CLUB

Roaring Fork Club is nestled on 282 acres of rich land on either side of the Roaring Fork River between Basalt and Aspen. This par-72, 7,312 yard Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, is sculpted along the dramatic contours of the river valley. Respect for the land and the fine outdoor tradition of golf is evident in the layout. The Club provides a lifestyle for those who seek the purest of golf, fishing, family, health and wellness. Annual rounds: 16,000 with an average of 90-95% being cart rounds.
– Responsible for multiple departments with operating budgets totaling $5.1M; planned and allocated $3.6M maintenance
budget with Directory of Agronomy
– Managed a capital budget of $1.3-$1.5M; oversaw planning, resource allocation, and project implementation
to enhance operations
– Trained, supervised and scheduled approximately 35 employees; supervised 2 assistant superintendents
– Provided championship conditioning on bent/poa USGA greens; focused on water management in a high desert climate
– Oversaw extensive winter operations team for snow removal with $500K budget
– Coordinated with lead Horticulturalist and Landscape department on projects on and off the course
– Managed and communicated with raw water management team regarding intake levels, and records with Colorado water district
for domestic and raw water
– Managed and oversaw contractors during numerous construction projects
OAK HILL COUNTRY CLUB
ROCHESTER, NY
AGRONOMY TEAM, 2016-2019
Oak Hill Country Club is home to two championship golf courses. The East course is currently ranked #21 in the country by Golf Digest. Both golf courses were designed by Donald Ross in 1924. Oak Hill is the only club in the country to have hosted every men’s traveling major in golf, most recently the 2023 PGA Championship.
– Assisted in management of a 36-hole facility with 55 employees
– Participated in preparation and hosting of the 2019 Senior PGA Championship
– Practiced sound water management techniques, to provide ideal growing conditions and maintain consistency
– Responsible for pesticide and fertilizer calibration, application, and bookkeeping
– Managed and supervised small group projects and course improvements; contributed to tree removal, drainage installation,
and snow removal
– Worked closely with contractors and architects in executing $8M East Course renovation
