As golf courses mature, things change. In order to keep things fresh and new, construction, renovation, and restoration projects need to be carefully planned for the future success of any club. Over the years I have been involved with many projects. Below are a few of many capital improvements during my turfgrass management career:

GOLF COURSE RENOVATION

While at Oak Hill Country Club, I worked with architect Andrew Green to bring his vision for the restoration of the famed East Course to life. I played a vital, hands-on role throughout the $5M transformation. This entire project included the reconstruction of 20 USGA-specification greens with PrecisionAire sub-surface systems, a complete bunker renovation, fairway recontouring and expansions, tee rebuilding, extensive drainage work, and multiple irrigation upgrades and rerouting.

In 2024 we graded and resurfaced the two driving range tees at the Roaring Fork Club. In that same year we also expanded, added drainage and re surfaced our 12th tee. At Wykagyl, we regraded and resurfaced our 7th alternate tee. We have also regrassed many bunkers that took wind damage throughout the winter or had layers of sand that needed to be removed for plant health. I have also led many in house drainage projects and I am proficient at drainage project design and installation to improve wet areas.
